FAQ
Can I use the serum every day?
We recommend starting with once a week for the first week. If your skin responds well, move to every other day in week two. By week three most skin types can handle daily use. We also recommend the sandwich method — apply a thin layer of moisturiser first, then the serum, then moisturiser again. This buffers the azelaic acid and significantly reduces the chance of irritation while still allowing the active to work effectively.
Are Dermaturm products safe during pregnancy?
We recommend consulting your doctor before using any new skincare during pregnancy, particularly the serum which contains azelaic acid.
Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Our serum is fragrance free and suitable for sensitive skin. The cleanser and moisturiser contain a mild fragrance. We recommend patch testing first if your skin is highly reactive.
How long before I see results?
Most customers notice changes by week two. Visible transformation typically happens by week three to four with consistent daily use. Results vary by skin type and concern.
Is the Glow Boost Tea safe for everyone?
The Glow Tea contains a 10% curcumin turmeric and black pepper. Those with turmeric allergies or on blood thinning medication should consult a doctor before use. Not recommended during pregnancy without medical advice.
Is Golden Milk suitable for acne prone skin?
Golden Milk contains milk powder which can aggravate acne in dairy sensitive individuals. If you have acne prone skin and are dairy sensitive we recommend starting with the Glow Tea and skincare range first.
Do I need to use all three skincare products together?
Each product works individually. But the three products are designed as a system — the cleanser prepares, the serum treats, the moisturiser seals. Used together they deliver significantly better results than any single product alone.
Can men use Dermaturm products?
Absolutely. Dermaturm is built for Nigerian skin regardless of gender. All products work equally well for men, women and everyone in between.
